Orlando Magic Aquire Vince Carter Lose Hedo Turkoglu

A day after the Magic acquired Vince Carter from the New Jersey Nets, Turkoglu's agent said Friday that he sent a notice to Orlando earlier this week that his client will opt out of his contract to become a free agent. Agent Lon Babby said the Magic had made Turkoglu an initial offer that Orlando general manager Otis Smith described as a "jumping off point."
So Hedo Turkoglu opted out and is a free agent on the market.

San Antonio Spurs Aquire Richard Jefferson in exchange for Bruce Bowen, Kurt Thomas, and Fabricio Oberto for Amir Johnson to the Pistons

Jeffeson will bring his healthy self to the game. He hasnt missed a game in Two Years, a record for the NBA. This will definetly bring the Spurs to Final Contention with having Tim Duncan, Tony Parker and Manu Ginobili.

Lakers Trade First Round Pick

Great news listening to AM570 in Los Angeles and the Lakers have just traded the 1st round draft #29 to the New York Knicks for 3 Million Dollars. Hopefully this means they are trying to work out a deal to keep both Trevor Ariza and Lamar Odom :)

Cleveland will send Ben Wallace and Sasha Pavlovic to Phoenix for the future Hall of Famer. Sources said the Suns will also receive the 46th pick in Thursday's NBA draft and $500,000.

The trade gives the Cavs a player they've coveted since February. With center Zydrunas Ilgauskas starting to break down, adding Shaq to the roster gives them a dominant force in the middle. The Cavs were obviously unhappy with their ability to defend Dwight Howard in the playoffs and bringing Shaq into the fold should help. O'Neal averaged 17.8 points and 8.4 rebounds per game last season and made his 15th All-Star game.

Shaquille O'Neal's first full year with the Phoenix Suns, in which the team won nine fewer games, was an abomination when looking at his history with new teams.

Like they say I think the Sun trading Shaq for Marion was a DUMB IDEA!!!!!

Shaq moves to Cleveland.

Seeing as this is my first blog you don't know me but I was born in Cleveland Ohio and I am very happy that Shaquille O'Neal will be joining forces with Lebron James and the Cavaliers to make one mighty fine team. The only problem I have is the O'niel will be riding on the horsetail of another easy win. First Kobe, then Dwyane, and now Lebron. Everyone though trading Shaq to the Suns would of made the Suns better but I think Shaq is to old and can't carry a whole team on his shoulders like the Shaq/Kobe years. I think adding him to the Cavaliers will make the difference though since Lebron is so amazing and still has a bunch of good players.
